On Tuesday, March 27, 2018, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. hosted his annual Women’s History Month Celebration, honoring women who have contributed to the growth and promotion of our borough, our city and our nation.
The event featured a panel discussion on the many obstacles women have had to conquer throughout our nation’s history and what can be done to break barriers in the present.
“The largest demographic in The Bronx are women and they are the backbone of our society, leading in their homes, in the community and various industries. Without the women in our lives, and in our communities, we would not be able to achieve all that we can,” said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr.
