On Thursday, September 14, 2017, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. and the Supreme Court of Bronx County co-hosted the borough’s annual “Day of Remembrance” to commemorate the families, friends and neighbors who perished in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
“Each year, we gather together to remember the lives we lost on September 11, 2001, and to mourn our friends and neighbors we lost that day,” said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. “I’d like to thank the Supreme Court of Bronx County for once again partnering with my office on this important commemoration.”
Marvin Scott, PIX11 Senior Correspondent, served as the event’s emcee.
