“I am disappointed that the Concourse Multiplex Cinema has closed permanently. Their departure leaves only one movie theater left in The Bronx and one less safe, family-oriented community space for Bronxites to enjoy. Following conversations with the landlord, I was pleased to learn that they understand the importance of a cinema at this location and remain committed to installing a new movie theater tenant as soon as possible.
I was also encouraged by the landlord’s commitment to activating the Concourse Plaza Mall into a premier destination.
