Hundreds of Toys were Distributed on Site to Families in Need
Bronx, NY – On Wednesday, December 6th, 2023, Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson joined NY/NJ TWU State Conference, Univision New York, and others for our annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony and Winter Wonderland. Performers for the evening included the NYPD’s La Jara Band; Bachata sensations, DNX4; celebrated Latin fusion band Afro Dominicano; and more.
The 25-foot Concolor Fir tree also commonly referred to as a White Fir tree, was adorned by 1,900 light bulbs and topped by a star.
