Bronx, NY – On Thursday, October 12th, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson hosted her annual celebration of Italian-American Heritage & Culture, “Mese della Cultura Italiana,” at the Schiff Family Great Hall on the grounds of the Bronx Zoo.
The honorees this year were David Levers, Director of Government Relations & External Affairs at Bronx Community College; Joseph A. D’Amico, Senior Vice President & Chief Security Officer at Montefiore Health System; and Tracey Madio, Owner of A1 Depot. Receiving a Youth Award was AnnaMaria Lombardo, a student at Preston High School. Executive Director of BronxNet Television, Michael Max Knobbe served as emcee.
