Bronx, NY – On Thursday, June 29th, 2023, Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson and Executive Director of the Bronx Tourism Council, Sulma Arzu-Brown, were joined by NYC Council Member Marjorie Velazquez, New York State Senator Nathalia Fernandez, and Orchard beachgoers for the Annual New York Salutes America Bronx Fireworks Extravaganza with “America’s First Family of Fireworks,” the Grucci’s. The evening featured performances by DJ Lex, as well as the Gambian Giedundun Performers, and Garifuna and Bomba dancers as well.
“Our annual, ‘New York Salutes America,’ Bronx Fireworks Extravaganza at Orchard Beach is one of our crown jewel events to celebrate the July 4th weekend,” said Bronx Borough President Vanessa L.
