“Joseph Kelleher will forever be remembered for the diligence, kindness, and devotion he brought to developing and steering our local economy into a force that brought jobs to our borough. As Chairman of the Bronx Chamber of Commerce and President and Chief Operating Officer of Hutch Management, a Division of Simone Property management, Joseph Kelleher helped to usher in a new era for the Bronx reimagining vacant land that today we know as the Hutch Metro Center that houses names like The Residence Inn by Marriott, Montefiore Medical Center’s Hutchinson Campus, BronxNet Television, Mercy College’s Bronx Campus, and LA Fitness, among others.
He was a true champion for our small business community and we were truly fortunate to have him in our lives. Although this is a time of immense sorrow, we ask our Bronx community to join us in celebrating his life here on this earth and his beautiful legacy that will live on through all of us. May Joe Rest in Peace and Power for a job well done.”
Also Host of, “Bronx Now,” that airs on Bronxnet Television, the network in October aired a tribute to his life. It will re-air in December. For more information, go to Bronxnet.org.
