On Friday, October 12, 2018, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. and United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Regional Administrator Lynne Patton visited the Patterson Houses, a New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) development in the South Bronx.
Borough President Diaz and Regional Administrator Patton spoke with tenants about the conditions at the development, as well as the long-term use of a temporary boiler at the development and last year’s heat crisis in New York City public housing.
