Bronx residents can experience Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz’ ‘State of the Borough’ address, on BronxNet. The ‘State of the Borough’, delivered on February 23rd was broadcast live and is being rebroadcast on BronxNet Ch. 67 on Optimum and on Ch. 33 on FiOS. The ‘State of the Borough’ airs 2/24 at 11am and 7pm, 2/5 at 6pm, 2/26 at 2pm and 7pm, 2/27, 2/28, and 3/1 at 11am, 3/2 at 11am and 6:30pm, 3/3 at 11am and 7pm, and 3/4 at 6pm. Viewers from all over the world can also share the experience live, at www.bronxnet.org.
Bronxites who were unable to attend the live event, as well as attendees who want a recap will hear Borough President Diaz’ entire speech which included comments on the restoration of Orchard Beach, youth leadership training, expanding employment opportunities, new housing, the expansion of Metro North, the upcoming Kingsbridge National Ice Center, the contributions of immigrants in the Bronx, and much more when they tune in to a rebroadcast.
