On Thursday, June 16, 2016, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. and over 200 members of the Bronx Muslim community gathered together at Lehman College to celebrate Ramadan. The program included recognition of leading individuals of the Muslim faith in the Bronx Community followed by prayers and fast-breaking.
