    to Cut the Ribbon at the Former Verizon Building

    On Thursday November 29, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. joined representatives of Houlihan-Parnes, JJ Real Estate Operating (also known as Jemal Realty), the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation and others for a ribbon cutting ceremony to announce multimillion dollar renovations to the former Verizon Building, located at 1775 Grand Concourse. More than $5 million are being invested by the partners to renovate the entire building, which will include a brand new lobby, new elevators and a new HVAC system, among other renovations.
