Hunts Point Riverside Park Becomes 24th NYC Park Location with Free AT&T Wi-Fi
On Tuesday, August 21, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. joined AT&T officials and the New York City Parks Department to launch free AT&T Wi-Fi service at Hunts Point Riverside Park. Hunts Point Riverside Park is the third Bronx park to receive the service through the “Wi-Fi in the Parks” initiative, a collaboration between AT&T and the City of New York to provide free Wi-Fi at 26 parks locations across the five boroughs. In addition to Wi-Fi, AT&T has made major investments in the Bronx wireless network over the past year, including the addition of LTE service and 239 network upgrades.
