    Re: Con Edison Labor Agreement

    “I applaud today’s equitable agreement reached between Con Edison and the Utility Workers Union of America, ending a nearly month-long lockout.

    “This deal puts our people back to work, ahead of the anticipated thunderstorms, which may put millions of residents across our City at serious risk. I am happy that an agreement between the two parties has been reached to ensure the safety and comfort of all New Yorkers, and I thank Governor Cuomo for his leadership on this important issue,” said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr.
