“Stella D’oro has been a big part of the Bronx for a very long time. We deeply lament the decision of its new owners to move out of our great borough, and feel sorry for the loss of numerous jobs that this decision brings with it,” said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr.
Borough President Diaz and his staff plan to meet with Brynwood Partners, who continues to own the site that formerly housed the Stella D’oro factory, to discuss their plans for its future.
