    • Borough President Diaz Celebrated Italian-American Heritage Month

    On Thursday, October 17, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. celebrated Italian-American Heritage Month, hosting his annual event at the Schiff Family Great Hall at the Bronx Zoo. During the event, Borough President Diaz honored prominent Bronx Italian-Americans for their contributions to the borough.

    Honorees included (l to r) Samantha Magistro, Vice President of Development, Bronx Pro Group; Fr. Louis Gigante, Founder & Chairman of the Board, SEBCO; Tina Ruggiero, Century 21 Real Estate; and Bobby Ruggiero, Former President of Ruggiero & Sons Funeral Home.
