Bronx, NY – On Thursday, February 20th, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson, the Consulate General of the Dominican Republic, Jesus Vasquez Martinez, Deputy Borough President Janet Peguero, the Bronx Economic Development Corporation and the Bronx Tourism Council celebrated Dominican Heritage Month. Fleriser Bello, who is the Founder and C.E.O. of La Bellas Fashionistas Foundations Inc., was the emcee for the evening.
Among the honorees were Juan Ariel Jimenez, Professor at Harvard Kennedy School, PUCMM; Haizel McIntyre, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Making Money Movers, NYC; Fernando Radhames Rodriguez, President of the United Bodegueros Association; Veronica Rosario, News Producer, PIX11; and Richy Rosario, Journalist and Producer.
The music selection was provided by La Jara Jr. All Stars, “Stylistic” DJ Lex.
