Hundreds of people from The Bronx and New York City gathered together at a prayer and candle light vigil held at the 43rd Precinct for 19-year NYPD veteran Sgt. Paul Tuozzolo, who was shot and killed while responding to a home invasion in Van Nest. Sgt. Tuozzolo’s wife Lisa smiled to hear how great her husband was while surrounded by family, friends, fellow officers, firefighters, elected officials, community members, faith leaders, youth and other supporters who attended the vigil. The ceremony was held outside the NYPD’s 43rd Precinct building where Sgt. Tuozzolo spent the past 10 years.
