This year honorees were Hector Ramos, journalist with more than 70 years of career in Puerto Rico and New York; and Dr. Antonia Pantoja, educator, social worker, feminist, civil rights leader and founder of ASPIRA, the Puerto Rican Forum, Boricua College and Producir, who was honored posthumously with a brief viewing of a documentary based on her life work.
