
Rainbow Ribbon Award
The Bronx Borough President's Office, the Bronx Community Pride Center and the Connect to Protect Bronx Coalition have collaborated to create the Bronx Rainbow Ribbon Award. The recipients of this award must have a history of providing culturally sensitive support services to youth who are members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning community in the Bronx.
All criteria is listed in the attached application.
**Applicants are required to have attended the Sexuality Matters training at the Bronx Community Pride Center**
Organizations that meet this criteria will be presented with this award at the annual Bronx Pride event to acknowledge their commitment to the LGBTQ youth in the Bronx.

Sexuality Matters Training
The Bronx Community Pride Center, The Bronx Borough President’s Office and the Connect to Protect Bronx Coalition is proud to present the 3rd Annual Sexuality Matters Training-LGBTQ Issues Training for Youth Service Providers in the Bronx.
Date: August 18th and 19th, 2011 (9:30am-5pm)
Location: The Bronx Community Pride Center-448 East 149th Street (2nd Floor)
The deadline for registration is August 1st!
****IMPORTANT INFORMATION IF YOU PLAN TO REGISTER:
*Must attend both sessions to receive a certificate of completion*
(Please note: If your organization has previously participated in the training, please send someone who is new to the training.
We will not allow anyone to attend who has previously attended.)
Priority will be given to Bronx organizations, space is limited so please register as soon as possible.
