BRONX BOROUGH PRESIDENT ADOLFO CARRION CELEBRATES IRISH HERITAGE MONTH

Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrión, Jr., celebrated his traditional event Irish Heritage Month on Thursday, March 22, 2007 in Woodlawn at the Rambling House Restaurant.
The Borough President honored various leaders throughout the community, including:  Bronx Firefighter, Brendan Cawley; President of The Bronx Chamber of Commerce, Joe Kelleher; Executive Director of the Citizen’s Advice Bureau, Caroline McLaughlin; and New York City Police Department Chief, Thomas P. Purtell.
 “This is a time we all join together and honor the many contributions and accomplishment of Irish Americans throughout New York City”, stated Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion. “All these honorees represent what is the best about Irish culture and I am proud to say that today we are all proud Irishmen and Irishwomen”.
The event was sponsored by Con Edison and The Rambling House Restaurant.
