Message from the Bronx Borough President’s Veterans Advisory Council

Filed a copy of your DD-214 with the County Clerk?

If you haven't filed a copy of your DD-214 with the County Clerk in your area, you should seriously consider it. They will place it on Microfiche and should you ever misplace the one at home, or have a fire, flood, etc., you can get a replacement from the Clerk's office.

The replacements are certified copies and can be used for VA benefits (home loan, burial, etc.). There is no fee to file it.

For additional information please contact the Bronx County Clerk’s Office.
