Expense Budget

The Office of the Bronx Borough President receives and disburses discretionary expense funds every fiscal year. The next fiscal year (FY2014) runs from July 1st, 2013 through June 30th, 2014.

The Borough President’s discretionary expense funds are allocated through the New York City Department for the Aging (DFTA). These funds are reimbursable and all receipts, invoices, etc. should be submitted to DFTA for reimbursement. Expense funds are used to serve SENIORS ONLY to operate senior centers, meals, recreational and educational activities, trips, dance and computer classes, etc.

• Name and address of senior organization
• Description of the program
• Amount of funding requested
