On Tuesday, November 27, 2018, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. and Bronx Fathers Taking Action cohosted “Fathers & Youth in Unity,” a community conversation on a variety of issues surrounding fatherhood and youth in The Bronx and across the five boroughs.

The evening’s conversation touched on a wide variety of topics, including crime and public safety, health, education, gun violence, youth programming, the My Brother’s Keeper initiative and more.

“This was a truly inspiring evening. We heard from people of all ages, from all over the city, about the importance of fatherhood and what it means to be a dad,” said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. “I was especially inspired by the youth who participated in the event. They are setting a great example for our future. I am proud to have co-hosted this important conversation, and I look forward to continuing our work to strengthen fatherhood throughout this city.”
