    • Borough President Diaz Visits Dominican Republic

    In mid-March, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. and his father, State Senator Rev. Ruben Diaz, visited the Dominican Republic in order to participate in the joint celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Juan Pablo Duarte, the father of the Dominican Republic, and the 169th anniversary of the Dominican Republic’s independence.
